FIELD NOTE
A man cannot hear a new voice in the dark until he has learned every old one.
John Moon spent two hours learning a creek before he let himself listen to it.
Not the rock shelf above the draw. Obvious is a word for targets. He folded into the root cage eight feet up the east bank and built the water’s baseline the way he builds a radio band, until forty sounds became one thing he knew.
Then something came down that water using it as cover.
EP021 releases this weekend, Part 1 Sat, Part 2 Sun
Season 1 runs two parts to an episode. Paid subscribers get each part the day it drops. Free subscribers wait a week.
