Two words come to mind describing this story after 3 episodes...'Riveting' and 'insightful' The nightmare scenario that no one wants to talk about is unfolding through the eyes of the Smith family. No one knows how they will will react until that moment in time comes along. For the Smith family that moment began 8 days ago, and every day decisions will be made that could make or break their future.
And I have read 'Prepared' by Mike Glover, and will read again.

Remnant is an absolutely incredible story line with a survival narrative, reminders & learning curves built in. The anticipation between drops 1 - 3 only builds waiting for drop 4!
Not exactly. Spoiler alert, they’re mutants. The chemical and biological agents added to some of the nuclear warheads has created mutants who are lucid but deadly. Stay tuned for more.
Started half way in with episode 12. However i’m glad I came back and started at episode 1. Excellent job building the characters from normal average people, to who they would have to become if they want to survive. Especially Sarah, a woman who understood exactly what it would take for her husband to go from a banker in a good neighborhood, to an absolute protector! And, the shameless Mike Glover plug!! Love it because it’s a book I've been meaning to buy since it came out. And this a great reminder that i should probably do that. Job well done Criss!!
